Described as a hipper Uncle Buck with a Texas-sized dose of Little Miss Sunshine and You Can Count on Me, Occupy Texas was filmed in 2016 on location in Texas. Starring Gene Gallerano, Lorelei Linklater, Janine Turner, Catherine Elvir, Nikki Moore and Peri Gilpin, it tells the story of a washed-up Occupier (Gallerano) who returns home to Texas after the news of his parents’ death. He arrives back in his home state to the shock that his parents have left him in charge of his two teenage sisters (Linklater and Elvir), catapulting Beau on a journey to re-identify with his sisters, and reconcile with his past.
