A legacy product is reborn
When Benjamin Moore set out to revamp their entire product portfolio, they turned to Notice to create the video content for all new and reformulated products. This work has spanned several years, and is still continuing, because they are a brand that is constantly innovating and improving their already superior product.
When it came time to tell the story of Regal Select, we knew it was a product that was important to the company, because it’s been around for 60 years. But just because it’s an “old” product, doesn’t mean it lacks some new tricks. We needed to find a way to showcase improved features, like scuff resistance and cleanability, while also highlighting the paint’s application features.
Lucky for us, the creative and marketing teams at Benjamin Moore are amazing to collaborate with, and we ultimately landed on portraying the product in a beautiful home with an active family. Once the creative was established, we took it from there: finding the perfect location, painting and decorating the home, casting a young, energetic family, and even finding a dog with on-camera experience.
And in our constant quest to maximize deliverables, we even interviewed the contractor that did the painting, so we could make testimonials. With a complex shoot like this, where there are innumerable moving parts, there’s nothing more gratifying than seeing it all come together for a client with minimal stress and maximum satisfaction.
